About

My inspiration for this blog is to explore things I’m curious about in the world around me—from the small details of everyday life to the bigger questions about how we live, travel, and connect. Writing here is my way of slowing down, reflecting, and following threads of curiosity wherever they lead. Sometimes that means digging into science or history, other times it’s a travel story, a cultural observation, or simply a thought that won’t leave me alone. My hope is that these explorations not only capture what fascinates me, but also spark something in you. Thanks for being here—I’d love for you to wander through with me.

A little about me: I’m at a turning point in life, preparing for a vagabonding period where I’ll be traveling long-term and living more simply. My hope is to be out of the country by winter, beginning a journey that’s as much about exploring the world as it is about understanding myself. This blog will be part travel journal, part reflection, part experiment in curiosity as I wander and learn along the way

A big influence on my thinking has been the book Vagabonding by Rolf Potts. It’s a reminder that life can be treated as an adventure. This blog is, in many ways, my attempt to put that philosophy into practice.
